During the offline update installer experience, I noted that it was installing Starts up okay, but this cycle continues IF I try to use Windows Update, even for other updates besides SP1! you definitely saved me because I was on craigslist looking for a new comouter and decided to google to see if there was a fix. Being in IT myself, these errors are actually preferably to other types of Windows errors. I hope MS wakes up and realizes their hay day ended with a stable XP. Windows 7 Service Pack 2

I know there are different tools and methods out there but there are people who do't know much about computers which makes this article not very helpful for them.
