Your accessories folder will now be visible in the Start menu. Can I copy from the location on the XP desktop, put them into the same file on the laptop, & have that work without messing anything up? I don't know how it would have got hidden in the first place. Accessories Folder In Windows 10
The only files beginning with dll in the System and System32 folders are dllhost.ext and dllhst3g.exe. I am wondering if I can copy the files from it...? If the issue still persists, you can copy C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories folder from another computer to problem computer.

Those files are on there.Did you make yours? Another page referred me to the AccRestore v.2.0 page; I ran that & it restored shortcuts to the start menu but not the actual programs. Calculator came from C/Windows/System 32. I know I didn't hide that folder? I immediately restored calc.exe to System32 and it works!Thanks, LisaP.S.
