Find find "SQL Server Browser" set it to Automatic and also Manually start it (2) Hope it helps. How will you ssh into some Other system's root account? Perhaps this is because it installs SQL Server Express 2008 first and then attempts to install SQL Server Express 2008 R2 right behind it?
