I installed Microsoft Word 97 which I had on a CD Disk that came with Microsoft Home Essentials (I had this on my old computer with Window 95). English (United States) or English (United Kingdom).
To solve this problem, type more words in the language that you want, or clear the Detect language automatically check box. Is it available by download? I'm sure it must be something simple, but yet beyond me!

Solution Obtain a copy of the missing file csapi3t1.dll and place it in the folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof".
You should also verify that "Always check spelling" is enabled in Tools, Options, Spelling.The missing csapi3t1.dll file is included with Windows XP, it simply isn't installed by default. You can install it from the i386 folder on your Windows XP CD. (If you don't have a Windows XP CD, your computer manufacturer should have created an i386 folder somewhere Stay logged in Sign up now!
