Sony Vegas Rendering Question
Video editing and "entry-level" don't go good together, and to have the slowest of the entry level is just worse. I am just trying to find a good resolution that fills the screen when I play back the file in wmp12 of windows 7. Actually, smaller file sizes render slower because they require more compression. Mine is 3,5GHz i5 with 8Gigs of RAM and an SSD, so I don't think that would solve the problem either. http://htbsoftware.com/sony-vegas/sony-vegas-7-0-rendering.html
that's a lot of resizing. I do shadowplay all the way. yea they are tough to edit and I would not render them to uncompressed because it's just too big a file size. So I have no use for VLC or the other players.Return to posts indexReport Post•Re: Sony Vegas Questionsby John Rofranoon Oct 10, 2009 at 12:17:11 am> Could you please tell me click site

I don't know where your source videos are coming from but personally, I would not build a video library as such an arbitrary resolution. ~jr http://www.johnrofrano.comhttp://www.vasst.comReturn to posts indexReport Post<< PREVIOUS Contact Us Home Forum Rules Forum Actions Mark Forums Read Videos What's New?

Maybe you could try to work around the issue by rendering it to lossless or uncompressed in Vegas, then encoding it as h.264 with something like "HandBrake"?
Thanks Last edited by SeriousUser: 06-08-2012 at 09:25 AM. This is not exactly the computer I would use for video rendering. Here is a short clip I've made, don't take the material too seriously. I guess I could tell it to render at 30 fps, I didn't think of that because I record at 30 fps so I'm not sure if it will do anything.

I was assuming (from all the comments I read) that it's possible (with the right render settings) to shrink a 10 minute 1080p video down to roughly 200mb and still keep
