I've been using Spybot, which is more robust program, and I'd have to say Spybot is better. Then considering it's been months since I last ran either, I'd have to say that common sense is the best way to avoid spy/adware. Click Scan. It has happened on here.

I've tried downloading everything from Hijackthis (again), Superantispyware, Malwarebytes (again), and even Audacity. HELP (and THANK YOU SO MUCH!)! I’m sure if I turned the start-up options back on, I would have the same problems again. Just my opinion of course, but with options immunize and the extra features, seems like a winner to me. ** EDIT I found out later on that this is not true.
Update your component package (CU3 is in the Sticky posts). I have sorted the problem out already! Go back to "DashBoard" select the Blue "Scan Now" tab......
